Uses of essential oils
Essential oils are used differently to achieve certain results.
Here are a few ways of how to attain these mental and physical benefits:
Menopause symptoms
(Jasmine, Lavender and/or Rose with carrier oil.)

Mix the oil with a carrier oil, put a few drops in water, soak your feet for 10 minutes.

(Eucalyptus, lemon and peppermint)
Inhale through steaming or diffusing. Clears chest and silences coughs.
Depression and Anxiety
(Ylang-ylang Jasmine, Grapefruit, Sweet Orange and Rose)

Acne
(Lavender)
1 drop of lavender essential oil + 1 drop of argon oil. Apply it directly on a pimple twice a week.
Mix lavender essential oil with a carrier oil and apply as a facial oil.
Skin Toner
(Lavender)
2 drops of lavender essential oil + 1 drop witch hazel.
Use a cotton wool to gently rub it over the face.

Eczema
(Lavender)
Mix with a carrier oil then apply on skin.
Antifungal and reduces inflammation.
Skin Lightening
(Lavender)
Mix with a carrier oil then apply on skin.
Reduces discoloration including dark spots.
Works on hyperpigmentation.
Reduces Wrinkles
(Lavender)
A few drops of lavender essential oil + coconut oil.
Use to moisturize once or twice daily.
Antiseptic
(Lemon, Peppermint, Lavender and Eucalyptus)
Deters wasps, spiders, and mice. Add a few drops to cotton balls and place them in areas with pest problems. Renew it after a few days or add it to a repellent spray.
Add a few drops of oil to 70% alcohol to make a disinfectant spray.
Insomnia
(Lavender and Jasmine)
Put a few drops of the oil on a piece of cloth and slide it inside your pillow case or spray your bedding with the essential oil.
Calms anxiety and offers sedative effects. It helps one fall asleep, a deep, slow-wave sleep.
Workout
(Ylang-Ylang)
Mix with a carrier oil and apply on your skin before a workout.
It improves circulation and reduces blood pressure.
(Lavender)
Inhale through diffusing.
Helps you relax after a workout with its anti-anxiety qualities.
(Peppermint and Lemon)
Diffuse during workout.
They energize for high intensity cardio.
