Aromatherapy: What are essential oils?
Essential oils are the natural alternatives to modern medicine. Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants. They are extracted naturally hence making them organic.
Essential oils aren’t a thing of the modern times but have been in existence for decades. Their benefits were realized as early as the 11th century and were first recorded in ancient India, Persia and Egypt. They became popular but were dulled down by modern medicines that we all know are addictive, and in many cases, renders our immune system weak and reliant on them for survival.
Don’t you think it is about time we go back to our roots?
